Building your toolkit
Now that you have learned about ADHD, and how it affects you, it is time to start considering ways in which you can help yourself through different tools.
Today we can cover different tools, including:
- Managing emotions: Here we learn about how overwhelming situations can lead to strong emotions, including anxiety, fear, frustration, low mood or even anger.
- Managing ADHD freeze: This will help you learn how to cope when you feel frozen or stuck when faced with something difficult
- Managing hyperactivity and impulsivity: In this, we will look at how hyperactivity affects you, and talk through different ways to manage your energy.
Which of these strategies would help you the most?
