Frequently asked questions

How does Klarna work?

Klarna is a third-party payment service that lets you spread the cost of your purchase over time. To learn more about Klarna and how it works, please visit their website and make sure to carefully read their terms and conditions.

What’s included in the cost of my assessment?

Your assessment cost covers a thorough evaluation by an expert clinician using NHS- and NICE-compliant diagnostic tools. This includes your virtual assessment session – which may be completed in one or multiple appointments, as well as a follow-up session to discuss your full report, diagnosis and any recommended next steps.

Are there any extra fees later on?

No. All costs are upfront and clearly explained. Post-assessment treatment and support are optional and come at an additional cost, which will be clearly communicated after your assessment, along with guidance on your next steps.

Can I upgrade or add support after diagnosis?

If you’ve started your assessment and would like to be assessed for both ADHD and autism, please speak with your clinician. We may be able to upgrade your assessment to cover both conditions, provided your full diagnosis and report if they haven’t already been completed.

At Xyla, we also offer ongoing care and treatment tailored to your needs. Post-assessment support is an optional extra and can be discussed during your follow-up session.

Why is Xyla more expensive than other providers?

At Xyla, we believe in providing the highest quality care, and that means investing in expert clinicians, thorough assessments, and personalised support that truly meets your needs. While some providers may offer lower prices, their services often don’t match the depth, accuracy, or ongoing support we deliver.

Our pricing reflects the gold-standard diagnostic tools we use, our NHS-aligned and NICE-compliant approach, and the seamless care we provide, from assessment through to post-diagnostic support if you need it.

We also ensure faster access to NHS trusted care without long waiting times, so you get timely answers and support. In short, with Xyla, you’re paying for expertise, reliability and a compassionate, personalised experience — not just a quick assessment.

We offer a free phone consultation to answer any initial questions. We’ll listen, understand your needs and guide you toward the right assessment or support. There’s no obligation, just reassurance and a helpful conversation.
