Free online autism self-screening test for children and teens

(ages 7-17)

This quick 10-question test is based on the Q10 autism screening criteria. A tool recommended by the NHS and NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) to help identify behaviours that may indicate autism in children and teenagers.

It takes just 3–5 minutes to complete. Parents should complete the test for children aged 7–12. Teens aged 13–17 can answer the questions themselves, or parents can complete it with them in parallel.

Please answer honestly, as there are no right or wrong answers. This test is not a diagnosis, but it can highlight whether a full autism assessment with a qualified clinician may be helpful.
