Today’s focus area
In session 4 we will talk about the toolkit you have been developing for yourself. Have you been able to practice anything from our last session?
Is there anything you would like to ask about the tools we have discussed?
We wil also go over any other tools you think would be helpful.
As a reminder, the tools we can talk about are:
- Assertiveness: In this toolkit kit you can learn how to tell people what you want or need, and help build confidence in talking to other people
- Thought Challenging: Here you can learn how to cope with thoughts that can be upsetting, make you feel low in mood, or even feel anxious.
- Sensory Regulation: These tools help with learning to cope with different senses that can leave you feeling overwhelmed, and lead to emotional outbursts. Here we talk through different tools such as mindfulness and grounding.
Session learnings and reflections:
We will also talk about what is next for you after your sessions and learning how to adjust to your diagnosis.
