Eleanor Norman

Head of Clinical Services
Eleanor is a Mental Health Nurse and Clinical Nurse Specialist with over 20 years of NHS experience. As Head of Clinical Services at Xyla, she specialises in ADHD diagnosis and prescribing, with a strong focus on safe, high-quality, person-centred care.

Eleanor brings more than two decades of experience delivering and leading mental health services within the NHS to her role as Head of Clinical Services at Xyla. A highly respected clinician and leader, she combines extensive knowledge with a deep passion for doing what’s right for each individual.

At the heart of Eleanor’s work is a belief that high-quality ADHD and autism assessments begin with seeing and hearing the person behind the referral. She is driven by the understanding that a thoughtful, compassionate assessment can empower individuals to better understand themselves and access the support they need to thrive. Her focus on clinical excellence, safety, and empathy ensures that every service delivered under her guidance meets the highest standards of care.

Elle Lawson

Operations Director
Elle leads with purpose and passion, overseeing Xyla’s Neurodevelopmental, Mental Health and Health and Wellbeing services to create meaningful, life-changing outcomes for people and patients.

As Operations Director, Elle oversees a range of national services at Xyla, all designed to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Under her leadership, Xyla has become a trusted provider of ADHD and autism assessments, working in close partnership with the NHS to reduce waiting times and improve access to essential care. These services have reached millions of individuals across the UK, helping them live healthier, more empowered lives.

Known for her focus on high standards and a compassionate, person-centred approach, Elle is committed to building services that are clinically robust, inclusive and tailored to meet the needs of every individual and family. Her leadership continues to shape innovative, sustainable solutions that support people to thrive — wherever they are in their health journey.

Stacey Rushton

Operations Manager
Stacey draws on her background in customer operations to improve patient experiences through streamlined processes, reliable service and ongoing enhancements in care delivery.

Before moving into healthcare, Stacey built a strong foundation in the banking sector, specialising in operational efficiency, compliance, and customer service. As Operations Manager for Xyla’s Neurodevelopmental Services, she applies this experience to enhance patient care pathways, simplify administrative processes, and support a seamless journey for every individual accessing support. Her attention to detail and strategic mindset have led to measurable improvements in service quality and helped shape a high-performing, patient-focused environment.

Deborah Mearman

Clinical Supervisor
Deborah is a highly experienced Learning Disability Nurse who champions patient-centred care, quality, and best practice in neurodevelopmental assessments.

Deborah qualified as a Registered Learning Disability Nurse over 23 years ago and has been involved in delivering specialist autism assessments for the past decade, including four years in a dedicated capacity. With a career-long focus on supporting individuals with autism, her expertise ensures Xyla’s assessments are robust, evidence-based, and aligned with NICE guidelines. As Xyla’s Clinical Supervisor, Deborah supports clinicians to uphold high standards and deliver comprehensive, multi-source assessments that accurately reflect the needs of each individual.

Jennifer Lovatt

Team Lead
Jennifer leads Xyla’s private assessment team, bringing expertise in neurodiversity and a sharp focus on delivering personalised, high-quality ADHD and autism care.

Jennifer has spent much of her career supporting neurodiverse children and young adults, developing a strong understanding of individual needs and how to advocate for appropriate support. Her move into neurodevelopmental assessment was driven by a passion for improving access to timely, high-quality care for those navigating ADHD and autism diagnoses.

In her current role leading Xyla’s private assessment team, Jennifer draws on her background in education, contract coordination, and medical assistance to deliver efficient, compassionate, and client-centred care. She works closely with families, educators and healthcare professionals to ensure each assessment leads to meaningful outcomes and supports long-term wellbeing.

Kate Byng

Medical Assistant
Kate is dedicated to delivering high-quality, accurate diagnostic reporting, with a strong commitment to clear and compassionate communication with individuals and families.

Kate brings extensive experience in supporting children and young people with additional needs across therapeutic, educational, and healthcare settings. Holding a BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies and Early Years Professional Status, she has trained in the ADOS framework and aspires to become involved in diagnostic assessment.

With Xyla, Kate has supported clinical services in various roles and now focuses on quality-checking diagnostic reports and guiding families through the assessment process. Her experience and empathy ensure both high standards and a smooth client journey.
