Why get an ADHD assessment?

Gain clarity on personal challenges and work with ADHD professionals to create strategies to effectively manage symptoms.

Access to treatment and support

Find the right combination of medication, therapy, coaching and/or lifestyle changes to improve quality of life.

Get workplace and academic adjustments

A formal diagnosis enables employers and schools to make reasonable accommodations to better support people with ADHD.

Empower yourself with peace of mind

Work with a specialist to remove the uncertainty, understand yourself better and move forward with confidence.

What is ADHD?

ADHD, or Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects how people focus, control impulses, and manage their energy. It can impact children, teenagers and adults, and because it presents differently for each individual, symptoms can vary, making it often go undiagnosed. Without the right support, ADHD can make navigating daily life more challenging.

The good news is that with an accurate diagnosis and the right support, ADHD is manageable. A personalised approach to care, including lifestyle coaching, therapy, wellbeing education, and sometimes medication, can help control symptoms, enabling individuals to not just manage daily life but thrive with confidence.

The three main types of ADHD are:

1

ADHD, inattentive type

People with this kind of ADHD may have trouble paying attention, finishing tasks and staying organised.

2

ADHD, hyperactive-impulsive type

People with this kind of ADHD may have impulsive behaviours, struggle to sit still and sometimes act without thinking.

3

ADHD, combined type

People with this type of ADHD can experience a mix of both inattentive and hyperactive-impulsive behaviours.
